There is a lot that is happening in this action-packed book that takes readers back into author Christine Feehan’s GhostWalker series. In San Francisco’s urban setting there is action at the bar Rory works at, the apartment complex she lives in including the death of a police detective, as well as in the very streets. Though she usually feels the need to run, she finds herself putting down roots and making close friends in the complex she lives and worries the threat she feels could harm them.

The most intriguing part of GHOSTLY GAME is that with the nightmares/memories, Rory finds out that she is indeed a GhostWalker--one of the originals that was deemed imperfect and lucky enough to escape Whitney’s clutches. We get to revisit the heartless Dr. Whitney and find out how she escaped him. It is thanks to Paul, the psychic surgeon for the team, who is able to help her with her asthma and the damage to her lungs (thanks to Whitney) as well as save her very life after she is kidnapped.
