The fourth book in the Charming, Texas series by Heather Bell, A CHARMING SINGLE DAD is a sweet romance that centers around second chances. Rafe sacrificed his happiness and future to care for his late best friend’s family. A devastated Jordan became a stronger woman after the breakup when she was forced to build her own identity. Now Jordan and Rafe are reconnecting and finding out what it takes to finally get their happy ending. Obstacles abound, such as fiancés, ex-wives, canceled flowers, blocked roads, and living in different cities. Jordan has to make sure the wedding goes off as planned while making sure her heart is headed in the right direction as well. Charming, Texas was an enjoyable place to visit, the story flowed nicely, and the characters were well-developed and engaging. There were several conflicts to be solved and the story dealt with these issues and decisions in an authentic way.  Overall, A CHARMING SINGLE DAD is an enjoyable read for a nice afternoon sitting in the sun!
