I can only say WOW after reading SHADOW STORM by Christina Feehan because I am literally speechless. Fans have waited to see if Emme and Val get their HEA or if she and Eli would become a pair. I admit I am ecstatic as this book is everything I wanted and much more.

SHADOW STORM is action-packed. Beginning with coming to the aid of Val, his father, and Dario (Val's bodyguard/cousin, who I hope gets a book of his own) after and uncle chose a violent takeover, Val and Emme work things out with a lot of soul searching and honesty, though there are a few bumps along the way. We get more glimpses of Emme's not-so-perfect childhood that explains some of her insecurities about being good enough. We also see more of the real Val, the crime boss along with the side that few get to see and the man Emme fell for. Part of the action and danger involves Val and the Ferraro's bringing down the enemies' businesses to break them and destroy a trafficking ring.

The end comes as a total shock, one that is a spoiler so cannot be discussed. I will say there is a question that is up in the air - did they or didn't they? For the ending alone you will want to get your hands on SHADOW STORM.
