HER DARK LIES is the second thriller I’ve read by Ellison. I must applaud the author for her ability to create haunting tales in an eerie atmospheric setting. In this novel, readers are whisked away to the island of Isola to celebrate an upcoming wedding. However, the getaway location has become infamous over the years for mysterious and unexplainable deaths. Yes, you read that right!
When events begin happening that prove the island is preparing to repeat its doomed history, readers will be finding themselves carrying out their own personal investigation. Told between two different perspectives, the plot will be revealed and full of evil goodness!
The only downfall I found for this title was that it was a bit of a slow-burn, which I struggle with. Overall, HER DARK LIES is a book you’ll want to add to your list!
