In EVERSPELL, Runa is in the midst of a hunt when she learns a number of secrets that has her doing something she has never done before, she lets her quarry go with a promise that if she has been lied to she will return. She doesn't need the added interference of the sexy stranger that for the first time ever got her in a compromising position. If you call a dagger held against her abdomen a compromising position, it was a first.
Brom knew he would someday have to go in search of the Varroki and train to accept his birthright, but it is the woman whose face he has seen and the voice telling him it is time to find her that sets him on this journey. He is fascinated by the woman with two knives she wields very well. Is it destiny? Or something that will lead them both down a trail that will end with evil ruling the world?
EVERSPELL is a mix of Celtic and Norse legends, powerful warriors, witches, and nymphs who will pull you into a world like no other. With Kindred book 5, author Donna Grant again gives us a fantasy read that is compelling and riveting. Runa is surprised to find she has a sister and immediately seeks her. Brom has been a loner but he has always known that one day he would have to face his heritage, whether he likes it or not, but the voice sending him to Runa cannot be denied.
The adventure they share with the others of the past Kindred books will have your heart in your throat a number of times. The ending of the danger they have faced is a moment of triumph, tinged with heartbreak for one. Though I think you will have to read EVERSPELL to find out what happens when good vs. evil and one is willing to sacrifice for all.
If you haven't read any of this series you will most likely be all right reading EVERSPELL because the first chapter gives a very good overlook. I do believe that once you get your hands on this one you will want to go back and catch up with this amazing series. For those who are fans and feel sad that this is the finale, do not fear, Ms. Grant loves to do spin-offs and plans The Kindred: The Fated in the future.
If you love warriors, witches, men and women fighting the good fight, action that will have your heart pounding and romance that will have you smiling in a historical/fantasy setting then EVERSPELL is what you want in your hands.
