Trying to prosecute a very bad man, Priscilla Miller has threats and danger coming at her from all sides but does that include the man who is her lover and will be her star witness. She really doesn't care, because WHEN HE'S BAD she feels safe.
Adrian Mack (Ramos) is the bad joke cracking member of Walker Security who is Pri's witness. After all he had spent a lot of time with the King Devil and his men, saw and did a lot of things that has him doubting himself in a number of ways. But, when he and Pri have to run he knows the perfect place - only his brother and the Walker men knows about. But, evidently someone else knew because the Devil's second in command is at the door ready to kill an F.B.I. agent and the both of them.
WHEN HE'S BAD starts right where WHEN HE'S DIRTY ends and we are off and running! Literally! Adrian and Pri are on the run and it seems from more than just the known bad guys. As more facts come into the light, there are more people who may be involved than she ever dreamed. Can those she knows really be part of this killers group? The evidence is growing on that.
There is a good bit of soul searching for both of them, as well as getting a good look at some snippets of Adrian's past - especially those things that he would rather forget. Slowly some of the secrets that affect both of them come out and Adrian manages to face the fact that he does not want to live without her whether he deserves her or not. Pri also must face some home truths that her ex and her father might be in the pockets of the devil himself.
Walker Security is totally behind them as they work together to prove not only that Adrian is not guilty of any crime (there is a warrant for his arrest) but also to keep them both alive and end the threat to them. Savage (a fan favorite) along with Lucifer, Blake, Adam, Dexter, along with various good and bad guy characters, certainly add to the exciting, intriguing vibe of this book.
If you are a sucker for a bad boy, who is a good man; a heroine who has strength, guts, integrity; co-workers who are closer than brothers and willing to fight the good fight even when it gets dirty then you need to get your hands on WHEN HE'S BAD.
Oh and did I mention the very steamy yet amazingly sweet romance that is always a part of author Lisa Renee Jones' books and the throat grabbing cliffhangers! Yes, it's all there in WHEN HE'S BAD! So grab it and hold on to your seat as this roller coaster takes off and enjoy the ride.
