A SINFUL ENCORE is the finale of author Lisa Renee Jones' Brilliance trilogy and might I say - what a finale! There are some totally unexpected twists and turns with a sweetly steamy romance thrown in that will captivate you from the beginning to the end.
Trust issues have to be worked out, secrets told, and actions take place that could only lead to Aria coming out of hiding, but she needs help. Security comes in the guise of Walker Security and employees Blake, Adrian, and Savage. There are some tense moments and some hilarious ones, especially when Adrian, who is well known for his bad jokes that no one ever knows the punchline to, is one-upped by Kace. These irreverent men would lay their lives down for Aria and Kace and in the process become family.
Gio is a very intriguing (though at times very irritating) brother and his return gives readers more questions than answers which leads to Kayden Wilkens and Ella (from the Careless Whispers series) to Italy and the protection of the Hawk. There is a big reveal that everyone saw coming--but was still an unexpected surprise to someone in Italy who owns a Stradivarius and wants to sell it, an attempted kidnapping, and the most amazingly romantic gesture that will make you fall in love with Kace even more. Just a few moments in this fantastic ride that will keep you glued to the pages, wanting to find out what happens, yet not wanting it to end.
I think my only complaint would be that I would have liked to see Kayden and his people do in the Blue Owls, not just hear what was done. I felt a bit bloodthirsty after all Aria and Kace had been through, but a happily ever after worked just as well. It makes me want to get my hands on more by this author!
You only thought you knew how this was going to end, but their story is far from over. The explosive finale is bound to leave you breathless. A Sinful Encore is the third and final book in the Brilliance trilogy.
