A COWBOY FIREFIGHTER CHRISTMAS KISS written by Kim Redford is a holiday must for romance lovers! If you have a thing for cowboys, then this is a must-read for you. Redford did a great job at setting the scene on the Wildcat Bluffs Canyon as her characters become those that you could love. I am not one who reads a lot of romances, but I have to say Redford did a good job holding my interest. It must have been Fernando the bull that made me love this story so much!
Ivy Bryant is having to take over running a historic honkytonk in this little country town. Her sister, who originally bought this place, gets a chance to travel on tour leaving Ivy to take over. This puts Ivy outside her comfort zone and only thinks about when she can go back to Houston. In walks Slade Steele, a cowboy firefighter who has a habit of not only putting out fires but heating things up as well. At least when it comes to Ivy. She finds herself feeling about this place and Slade in ways that she never thought she would. Will this town with its warm welcoming people and this cowboy grow on her enough to keep her planted in place? Or will she stick to her plans of only making this temporally?
A COWBOY FIREFIGHTER CHRISTMAS KISS is number five in the Smokin’ Hot Cowboys series and my first of the collection to read. Kim Redford did an excellent job catching the warmth of this characters in this country town making it a place you wish you could really visit. If I have not convinced you yet to pick this romance up, then maybe Fernando has your interest perked a little.
