THE STYLIST TAKES MANHATTAN is a frothy, fun-filled adventure filled with glitz and glamour. Amber Green is a British stylist decorating windows at the renowned department store, Selfridges. She loves her job, is creative and happy. She is in a five-month relationship with Rob, a handsome, fun, and successful TV producer. When Rob calls to tell her he has something important to tell her, Amber is convinced their idyllic time is over. However, his news involves Rob being sent to New York to film a very successful lingerie firm, Angel Wear (think Victoria Secret). Rob invites Amber to join him and she does. Upon arrival in the Big Apple, they find a tiny apartment that they call their "sardine tin" but the location is perfect. Amber begins a new career as stylist to celebrities.

With luck, Amber stumbles onto a has been designer, Maurice Chan who was sabotaged at the height of his career and is planning his return to the world of fashion. Amber also creates some weird Instagram happenings that bring her to the attention of major "movers and shakers" and give her a career boost. She becomes obsessed with her Instagram and she does make waves!

The descriptions as the themed guests arrive on the red carpet for the Met Gala hosted by Icon Anna Wintour is breathtaking. Backstage at the Angel Wear fashion show as the models prepare for their walk on the runway is exciting. The runway show brings down the house and marks a career-high for Amber and a new beginning for Maurice Chan. Also the beginning of a career for a model you would not expect to see soar.
