It's strange how weddings seem to bring together people who are reluctant and not actively looking. Natalie Silverton arrives in Denver to attend her best friends wedding. The wolf shifter has a minor run-in with a drunk shifter who delays the plane by getting thrown off after some rather obnoxious behavior. In her rush when she finally lands, she grabs the wrong bag and ends up getting lost driving the rental. Not a great start for her trip but it is the beginning of the SEAL WOLF SURRENDER that no one anticipated.

Brock Greystoke, wolf shifter, former Navy SEAL and now P.I., is not looking for a mate. He got blindsided by one a few years ago and his trust issues are alive and well. Until he helps Natalie find her way to the party and then goes all bodyguard when he realizes she might be in danger. Natalie grabbed the wrong bag and it turns out to be the drunk wolf's and it's filled with phony money. Thus starts a reluctant, on both sides, as she too has some trust issues concerning males, partnership that has Natalie helping Brock investigate and Brock and one of his pack mates, Shawn, helping her and her parents with their garden center.

SEAL WOLF SURRENDER will pull you in and not let you go until you reluctantly get to the end. Almost from word one you can feel the energy and anticipation and know amazing things are about to happen. Brock and Kristi had both endured heartbreak and she doesn't do packs, just her parents and her best friend (sister of the heart) who is now a part of his and Brock's amazing pack. She lives in Texas and he in Denver - but the heart knows a thing or two and these two are immediately drawn to one another. The romance felt perfectly paced and kept the readers in anticipation as to when they would realize they belong together and that, because of that little fact, things would work out for them. As you get to know all the parties involved you aren't completely surprised by her parents' plan. What to me was an interesting play is just how many of the bad guy's own people are trying to cheat him. Even the bad guy doesn't know who to trust. SEAL WOLF SURRENDER is filled with amazingly well-written action scenes with twists that come out of nowhere.
