While trying to decipher all the messages, warnings and threats Harper Evans and Eric Mitchell continue to try to learn each other while keeping each other, and those that mean the most to them, safe in this offering of the Filthy trilogy.

If they don't have each other then there is nowhere to turn. She goes to Eric and demands to know what he has hidden. He has already learned her secret so now is the time for him to come clean.

With THE EMPIRE, author Lisa Renee Jones concludes the Filthy trilogy. This amazing author invites readers to see the faces of the dark side of a corrupt, sick family where you can't tell the innocent from the guilty - if there are any innocents when all is said and done. Even Gigi, the grandmother of Eric and Isaac might not be the woman we have come to know. I am so glad that Eric and Harper finally get their answers and are safely away from the crazy people that thought only of their own needs and desires. Sorry, you will have to read this breath stealing, heart pounding book to find out the hows and whys when all the lies and secrets are finally out and known.

I have to seriously suggest reading this trilogy in order to get the full effect of this dramatic, sexy, amazing story of Harper and Eric. There is too much to try to read only the ending because the first books introduce the individuals more and the finale dwells on the couple, their friends, their world and their happiness. An intriguing ending for the family members and I think author Lisa Renee Jones gave readers what they wanted most -- Eric and Harper's happily ever after.
