Romance Paranormal

Keva is a human living in the territory of dragon shifters. Years ago she was saved from death at the hands of her wolf shifter ex-boyfriend by the alpha dragon and he offered her sanctuary. Having put her life back together, she is feeling secure. Too bad she feels a SENTINEL OF DARKNESS is about to come into her life whether she is ready for it or not. For her safety, she had best be ready. Dagen's brother is the alpha, and he is a sentinel, and he finds out almost too late that Keva is his mate. Luckily he isn't too proud to grovel after his mistake, and he does. Getting past her reluctance to be with a shifter will take him a little more time, but is time running out for him as her past comes rearing it's ugly head again? SENTINEL OF DARKNESS is author Katie Reus at her best. It was fantastic returning to this author's Darkness series with this book. It is 251 pages packed with action, danger, intrigue and emotional drama that will keep you glued to your seat. Keva is wary about dealing with Dagen and following her heart where it is leading. Dagen starts kicking himself almost from the beginning about his mistake, and it was a simple misunderstanding, but she was right to take it slowly. Though, of course, Dagen has other ideas, and when she is confronted by a member of her ex's family, he is ready to do his best to protect the woman who is already a part of him. I loved his protective streak, but I also loved that it was Keva who did the final bit of rescuing of herself and it felt good for her. It was the final thing she needed to rebuild her self esteem and allow herself to open her heart. If you love paranormal with a lot of exciting characters, a strong hero and heroine, sweet and steamy romance with action and danger then get your hands on SENTINEL OF DARKNESS!
