books, there were moments of Eoghan's fight for survival,
and I was thrilled with the way author Donna Grant handled
the past, present, and future of the amazing characters in
DARK ALPHA'S HUNGER. There are some unexpected twists to go
along with this new addition to Ms. Grant's Reaper
stories.
Not only does Thea save Eoghan and learn the secrets of his
world, but there is a new batch of Reapers who need
his experience as they plan to continue the battle with
Bran. Three Dark and three Light, five males and one female --
-- Cathal, Rordan, Bradach, Dubhan, Torin, and the female
warrior, Aisling -- all secrets in the war against Bran.
Donna Grant's new characters are fascinating with their
ability to
work together and accept Eoghan as their leader without a
qualm. The hints of their personalities are more than
enough to make me want to see more of this group and watch
them work as a team.
Thea had no idea she is a halfling or the danger she is
in ... having no knowledge of the Fae or her part in that
world. But once she learns, and it is proven to her, then
she is ready to do what she can to help. There are a number
of secrets that come to light that will astound readers
some expected and some totally out of the realm of our
imaginations, but twists and turns we expect to come from
Ms. Grant. May I just add a personal note here ... I really
want to see Queen Usaeil get hers. I didn't care for her
before, but now -- wow, is she evil!
