KOSTA'S CONVENIENT BRIDE had me on an emotional roller coaster. At first, I thought Andreas was just a jerk, a coldhearted business man, a billionaire who didn't care about anyone -- but as I read on, I realized he was really socially clueless to what Kayla meant to him. His anger at his father seemed to blind him. But it was his fear of losing the only person he considered "family" that almost had just that happening. Kayla tired of waiting and knowing she had to protect herself leaves to take control of the future that she didn't know she was going to have to go it alone. It did take awhile for him to acknowledge his feelings, but the guy finally got it.

Author Lucy Monroe weaves a well written, intriguing story of a couple of lost souls who finally find each other. She gives her readers the right amount of background, so we get to know these people and really begin to feel for them, and even feel sympathetic when we first felt a bit of dislike. I read romance to escape, and this was a perfect, steamy, warm flight of fantasy that I expect every time I read Ms. Monroe's books. KOSTA'S CONVENIENT BRIDE is in my to read again shelf and I eagerly await more by this author.
