IF I LIVE is the third book in the If I Run series by Terri Blackstock and is a romantic mystery fiction novel. This book can easily be read as a standalone novel. I will warn you through that after reading you will want to go back and read the others. The If I Run series only gets better with each book!

IF I LIVE is a heart pounding read as you follow along with Detective Keegan as he tries desperately, even willing to stop at nothing, to shut up Casey and Dylan. Whoever stands in the cross hairs is fair game and almost certain to not make it out alive. Detective Keegan takes out a few unexpected people along the way making sure that the police force will never be the same again. With such a powerful and dangerous man after them, how will Casey and Dylan survive?

Blackstock has written such a meaningful and powerful story. I enjoyed reading about the strong Christian message that lies within the pages of the remarkable story. Casey learns to trust God and put her faith in him under these horrible circumstances. Page after page you will be on pins and needles reading this suspenseful mystery. You will question everyone and everything until the last page.

The characters are well developed and seem to shine in IF I LIVE. You finally get to see Casey as the strong and determined woman she truly is. Dylan's character is well written and very developed with an amazing backstory that seems to help mesh with Casey's character. There are several side characters that I would have loved to have read more about but hopefully that will come in another book.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this suspenseful mystery. I look forward to reading more from Terri Blackstock.
