The only saving grace to this END GAME is Emily. She is the love of his life, but with secrets of her own, she is also in danger and must be protected from her past.

For those who followed the Dirty Money series know that BAD DEEDS (book three) ended in a terrible, heart-stopping cliffhanger that left two bodies on the floor. There is no way to do this review without revealing that one of the two did not make it. Thus giving Shane even more determination to finish what he started by dividing the enterprise, weeding out the dirty money and seek a little revenge.

END GAME is just that ... the end of the mega heart pounding Dirty Money series by author Lisa Renee Jones. This series has been outstanding as we have had the opportunity to get to know all of the characters and learn their secrets and feel their pain. As Shane works diligently to pull the family fortunes out of the hands of the cartel, who want a deeper in on their pharmaceutical branch, he also must deal with Emily's past and devise a way to protect her. This story is simply amazing. The way Ms. Jones draws everything together and wraps it all in a very big bow will have you astounded. The emotional roller coaster that END GAME offers readers is one that will have you holding on as Shane works through everything that he has to get done as he promised his brother. As he divides up the business, thus deftly getting the enemies out of the family's world he adds on a fashion line to shore up the finances, that Emily will head. Please note that though this is a four book series it isn't necessary to have read the other three to follow this one, but you will want to go back and get the others because this is an awesome storyline.

There are a number of characters that I will miss with the finale of this series: Jessica, Shane's assistant; Seth Cage, his right-hand man and former CIA; Cody also former CIA and Emily's unwanted (to her way of thinking) bodyguard, and of course Shane and Emily's surprise at the end. I really hope Ms. Jones offers a sort of offshoot of this series and brings these people back.
