Romance Suspense
The twisted world of terrorism, CIA and governmental
hypocrisy, lies and truth, is the bottom line and part of
what will be the FUEL FOR FIRE in this edition of author
Julie Ann Walker's Black
Knight Inc. series. Dagan Zoelner, Z to his friends, was fired after bad intel
led to a blow out of a mission. He joined BKI because
fighting the good fight is what he does. He knows he made
mistakes but he wishes one of them had not involved Chelsea
Duvall. Chelsea is CIA and she is hiding a number of secrets. One
being the truth behind Z's dismissal and that the higher
powers knew but did nothing to protect him, only
themselves. Another secret is her feelings for the broody
handsome man and being liaison between their two groups is
only making it harder for her to ignore those wants and
desires. Because if she gives in then she will have to tell
the truth and she knows he will walk away forever. FUEL FOR FIRE is action-packed! There is no other way to
put it. I felt as if I were on an emotional as well as
physical and psychological roller coaster ride. So many
secrets that have to come out and so much emotion to get
through but the happily ever after does finally get there,
but whoosh -- what a ride, Z and Chelsea are really perfect
for each other in that they are both loyal and supportive
of those that matter. She worked hard to keep her mother
happily in her home and he for the country he loves and
people who he feels belong to him. As it happened when the
truth was spilled, Z reacted as she thought and she returns
to her world broken-hearted, but of course that just won't
do for our author so a little time and some good
old-fashioned talking to helps him come to grips. The dialogue between all the characters is realistic and
easily shows the backgrounds and personalities of the
different members of BKI. I felt as if I were there in the
conversations and antics of the various people, because even
in dire times, laughter is good. I loved Becky, the lollipop
loving mechanic, who isn't afraid of pointing out a few home
truths. The woman knows her machines and her people. If you are looking for an action packed ride that will have
you running through a gambit of emotions, love, laughter,
anger, hurt, sweet and steamy then FUEL FOR FIRE is what you
need.
SUMMARY
A brooding covert operative and a spunky CIA agent discover
a burning passion in the next installment of Julie Ann
Walker's red-hot BKI series Dagan Zoelner has made three huge mistakes The first two left blood on his hands. The third left him wondering...what if? What if he had told
the woman of his dreams how he felt before his world fell

bossy, brooding Dagan. It's just as well that he's never
given her a second look, since she carries a combustible
secret about his past that threatens to torch their lives...
