Romance Paranormal

Michael Drummond is a good Irish son, but he wants more. Don't get him wrong, he loves his mother and four sisters, he just finds it a little difficult being the only man in the bunch. Lately things have been strange in Dublin and when his sister Maeve says be careful, it's time to be careful. So when he and Maeve witness a battle between a creature and a robed man, he is shocked to find out the creature may not be the bad guy.

The Creature's name is Ash and she is a Guardian. The man she was battling is a member of the order, they serve evil and it is Ash's job to stop them. Ash is a Gargoyle that has arose from sleep to stop the members of the order from releasing evil. The only problem is, Guardians are supposed to have Wardens to inform them where the threat is coming from and who they are suppose to battle. Ash can't find her warden. So Michael and Maeve must help her. Soon they discover the connection between Michael and Ash is strong in more ways than he believes possible. With the help of other Guardians and Wardens they must fight a battle to stop opening the doors to hell.

Christine Warren has created a cast of characters determined to help save the world. The connection between Michael and Ash sparks with sensuality; they're undeniably matched for each other. Ash is a strong powerful woman in a world of only men, it's exciting to see her know her strength and never have to prove anything. I love the way Christine Warren writes her heroines. She makes them strong and powerful, yet sexy and able to admit when they need the man they love. HARD TO HANDLE is a fast paced, hard hitting story with sexy scenes and heroines that kick butt. Christine Warren has struck gold again.

SUMMARY

There is nothing more powerful than a gargoyle—except for the one woman on Earth who can tame him.

Ash knows two things for certain: one, she has been summoned to the human plane to guard it against the forces of the Darkness; and two, since no other female Guardian has ever existed, something must be very, very wrong. She has little time to save humanity but an infinitely distracting human man keeps tempting her in ways she never imagined...

Michael Drummond just wants to keep his head down and his pub open, but when he's dragged into an epic end-of-the-world type battle between good and evil, he can't help but be a little off his game. The only plus side to the situation: his newly-found Guardian is the sexiest, most alluring woman he's ever laid eyes on, and she seems to want Michael almost as badly as he wants her. But with the earth is basically a ticking time bomb and all hope seems lost, can love really save the day?
