Laura DiSilverio's next series in the Book Club Mystery will leave you entertained and at the edge of your seat in anticipation! THE READAHOLIC AND THE GOTHIC GALA is not only hilarious at times but also unpredictable. Books like this are the number one reason why I love cozy mysteries. The characters are always fun and lively, while the storyline is just suspenseful enough to not frighten you but to keep the suspense there to hold your attention. THE READAHOLIC AND THE GOTHIC GALA does just that.
A mysterious man turns up dead at the Gothic Gala -- an event planned by Amy-Faye who just wants to bring together Gothic authors, not host a dead body and a conference full of amateur sleuths. Fingers point to a bloat of suspects; most of the professional writers in the story have one reason or another to want their colleagues dead. Who knew and disliked the mysterious dead man so much that they would consider murder, and what was the motive? As Amy-Faye and other members of the mystery book club try to get to the bottom of things before it is too late, suspicion is up among the authors.
Laura DiSilverio's THE READAHOLIC AND THE GOTHIC GALA is highly recommended if you love a good cozy mystery. I love that the characters are really strong in their relationships, like Amy-Faye and her boyfriend Hart. Even her friendships with the others in the mystery book club seem to have a connection that kept you interested in reading. I look forward to many more in this series!
