HER RENEGADE RANCHER is another great Montana Men story about the youngest of the Kendrick brothers, Colt. Once again Jennifer Ryan gives us a great story about a strong woman. This story comes from a different angle then the previous ones. The women previously were independently wealthy and suffered various forms of abuse and threats upon their lives. In HER RENEGADE RANCHER Luna Hill is a waitress in a diner and barely making it financially.

Colt and Luna shared an explosive kiss that they both felt guilty about so they have tried to avoid each other. But once they realize that they really have no reason to feel guilty they find that they may have waited too long. Luna has been offered a job that will require her to leave town. Her dear friend dies unexpectedly and leaves Luna with a gift that fulfills her long desired dreams. But accepting this friend's gift will put Luna in the position of withstanding various forms of innuendos. Once again Jennifer Ryan writes about a strong, determined woman who will not allow obstacles to prevent her from fulfilling her dreams and carrying out her dear friend's wishes. Her sexy cowboy stands by her side giving her all the support she needs.

Even though Luna is determined to forge ahead she encounters numerous obstacles from her friend's family that include threats on Colt's life. She may be determined to fulfill the terms set out by her friend, but she has a different mindset about continuing a relationship with Colt when his life is put in jeopardy. But Colt is just as determined. He has waited a long time to finally admit his feelings for Luna so he has no intention of letting anyone or anything get in the way.

This is a great story about two people who wanted each other but because of misplaced guilt missed out on time they could have been together. Luna is used to putting everyone's feelings first, even if it means losing something she really wants. Colt is willing to risk everything to prove to Luna just how important she is to him.
