DIRTY LITTLE LIES is a scorching, action-packed book. This is author Lora Leigh at her naughty best with characters that you will love, others you will hate and still some that will simply surprise you. I will have to admit that I was on the bubble with Grace, she did just a little too much waffling and did tend to be whiny. On the occasions that she pulled up her big girl panties she was a force to be reckoned with and the perfect match for Zack. He also was a bit of an autocratic jerk, too controlling with an attitude that I found irritating. I thought perhaps that having known Grace forever he would understand how to deal with her better but he did some dumb things.

That said, I still found the storyline amazingly complex and very compelling. There are a lot of people involved, a number of brothers that come out of the woodwork, and many secrets that will keep you glued to the pages. Despite the danger there were a number of funny moments and one in particular involving the threat of bringing a bunch of wooden, antique furniture into Zack's house had me laughing out loud. Although this particular mystery was resolved, I am hoping that Ms. Leigh will bring us more books involving some of Grace's "brothers" and cousins. I would love to see Beau-Remi, Mad and Cord get their own stories.

If you are looking for surprises that don't seem to stop, an autocratic male and a woman who learns quickly how to handle him, steamy yet sweet romance, and a lot of action and intrigue ... then DIRTY LITTLE LIES is what you are looking for.
