There are a number of authors that are on my must read
list and only a few times have I been disappointed by them.
ARCHANGEL'S HEART will not disappoint on any level. Author
Nalini Singh gives her readers love, action, suspense, fear
and surprises wrapped into these pages, and I for one could
not put it down.
With Archangel Lijuan missing her territory is without
leadership and the Cadre must do something, without control
there is fear of vampiric bloodlust, but if they move too
quickly there is further fear of war. Luminata, an ancient
order of angels, has the ability to call a meeting of the
Cadre and they do so.
Archangel Raphael and his consort Elena must attend, but
something is not right with this eerie compound. The peace
they expected is tinged with an ugly feel. Elena had
planned to explore this world, most especially since it is
the place of her mother's people. But instead of the
freedom and laughter she expects she finds fear and anger.
Getting to the bottom of her family history and the mystery
of the Luminata brings shocks to Elena that only her
Archangel can sooth.
ARCHANGEL'S HEART is simply ... amazing! I love Elena and
Raphael and have enjoyed seeing the "humanizing" of her
Archangel but in this book I actually could feel the love
that has grown in leaps and bounds between them. Also
something that I really enjoyed was getting a closer look
at Aodhan. We don't get much on what "broke" the angel but
we do get to see him coming more out of his shell. The
surprises that are in this book for Elena, which you will
have to read the book to find out what those might be, will
have you wondering where Ms. Singh possibly got that twist.

love this one and if you have never read this series ...
what are you waiting for? This series is filled with scary,
gorgeous angels; a kick-butt angel-guild hunter, warrior
woman; sweet and steamy moments; action that will have you
holding your breath and a number of moments that will have
you laughing out loud ... what more could you ask for?
