With DON'T TEMPT ME, Lori Foster kicks off a new series in grand style, and the author will definitely garner even more fans. With nary a few words, the author clearly establishes the visuals of the Clearbrook neighborhood, and I immediately fell in love with the small town and its residents. Ms. Foster remains true to herself in creating appealing, complex characters, a solid story, smashing dialogues, and sizzling sex scenes. It really amazed me how fresh, fun, and enjoyable this story is.
Lori Foster's writing is tighter and more polished than ever, which is a feat in itself. I really cared about every character; Jason was so patient with Honor, whom I so wanted to hug. I absolutely adored Lexie, with her big heart and complete absence of filters. Lexie also gets her man, although I feel that her romance might have been wrapped up a tad too tidily; it could have easily extended into the next book. And I cannot wait to meet up again with these characters in future installments of this series; the possibilities are nearly endless. With DON'T TEMPT ME, Lori Foster demonstrates once again why she is a giant of contemporary romance!
