I loved the tenacity of Ronan trying to move forward with
Maddy. And I felt for Maddy who even though she comes off
as tough and secure, you can see that she is missing out
on
life and things she really wants. They do an amazing if
not
frustrating dance—you know step forward and then
jump
back. My favorite line that had me burst out laughing and
sums up Ronan's confusion was, "I don't know whether to
scratch my watch or wind my a$$." Luckily he figures it
out. What also tickled me was how and when the revelation
of what this couple was feeling hit them individually, and
how Ronan, who admitted it first, worried when there were
no words forthcoming from Maddy.
If you are looking for a feel good, second chance at love
while adding in a good bit of soul searching with some
mixed messages from both of the parties in question and
sometimes sage advice that might have been better if it
had
been ignored, then TROUBLE WALKS IN will fit the bill.
Be prepared to run the gambit of emotions along with Ronan
and Maddy.
