WRONG BED REUNION is Book 2 in Candy Sloane's "Most Likely To" series. At her high school reunion, former cheerleader Georgia Cahill unexpectedly falls into former geek Gideon Neill's lap. When Gideon suddenly has a pressing need for a fake girlfriend, this has all the promise of featuring one of my favorite romance tropes. However, because the hero and heroine have a complicated past, the heart of the story is the profound change that two people can undergo and how that change leads them to love.
The setting for WRONG BED REUNION, and for each book in this entire "Most Likely To" series, is a high school reunion. When Georgia mistakenly sneaks into Gideon's room, instead of the former quarterback's room, he gets the idea to propose a delicious trade -- he helps make the football player jealous and she poses as his girlfriend for a business deal. Neither of them could expect that their deal would go down in flames of passion. Candy Sloane does a great job of balancing Gideon's anger from the past without having him go over the line and having the story be only about that anger. The beauty for me, in WRONG BED REUNION, is the moment Georgia and Gideon both realize how different the other person is from what they remember. When Georgia apologizes for her part in Gideon's past hurt, he believes her because over the course of the book he sees the person she's become. I love the heavy duty emotional workout in WRONG BED REUNION as well as the equally strong incredibly erotic elements. Gideon and Georgia set this book aflame with their smoldering glances and super steamy trysts.
WRONG BED REUNION is a sinfully erotic romance that will have you desperate for more. I enjoyed the epilogue and think it's a nice follow-up with the main characters. I can't wait to see what Candy Sloane has planned for the other reunion attendees in future "Most Likely To" books!
