Clea Howard is living a normal, everyday life like most people. Married to Ronnie for eighteen years, with their teenage daughter Kelly, Clea looks after the house and her family. But inside Clea is struggling. Struggling with who she has become and the fact that her own life is unrecognisable.
Clea is fed up of keeping the peace, living with a husband and daughter who are always plugged in to their work, their friends, and their technology. Clea is fed up of just existing. So when a chance encounter brings her face-to- face with a handsome stranger, Clea leaps at the chance for adventure. Having this sizzling affair with Lancaster opens up Clea to the possibilities within her, and in her lovers arms she finds a true connection. But things aren't always as they seem - who is this stranger who knows her every thought and move? As tragedy strikes, and her family start to ask questions, will Clea be forced to face reality and let go of Lancaster forever?
LOST IN HIS EYES by Andrew Neiderman is an enigmatic tale about losing yourself to the idea of love. This novel is well- paced, interesting and I loved the twists and turns the plot took. The main character Clea is not exactly likeable, and I wanted her to realise she was hurting her family, but as the story developed, the workings of her mind became more clear, and she became more human. LOST IN HIS EYES by Andrew Neiderman is a deeply thoughtful look at life and love, and I enjoyed it immensely.
