Bend, and I have to say DESERT WOLF is the best yet!
Cassius starts out fighting and ends up fighting. Sovvan a
lovely little wolf is strong and fierce, as an omega she
has had to be. Cassius had been working hard to eliminate
the
threat to her but almost wasn't in time, and she had to
defend herself
in an ambush.
From a past book, I felt there was more to Cassius than
meets the eye; he is strong, tough, violent and without
mercy because he had to be to survive. After a little
while,
especially around Sovvan, the tender side of this wolf
comes
to the front ... though there were hints along the way that
this tough guy has a soft spot. I loved
watching the slow melting of his hardened heart. I also
enjoyed seeing all of the alpha's uniting to
face an even deadlier foe because it gives me hope this
series will continue.
You are going to have to read DESERT WOLF to find out who
and what that threat might be. I know it is trite to say I
couldn't put this book down, but it was true! Every time I
had to do something other than read, my mind was on what
could possibly happen next. Ms. Long has a winner in DESERT
WOLF, and I can't wait for more.
