Cat O'Connor is an ex-cop who is now working for her sister, Chloe as her manager. Chloe is a soap opera star and is horribly self-centered and extremely manipulative. Even though Cat and Chloe are identical twins they couldn't be more different. Chloe doesn't deserve Cat as her sister but no matter how badly she treats Cat, Cat is right there to protect her. You see, someone is trying to kill Chloe and as badly as Cat hates her job and wants to go back home, but she will not leave her sister until she knows she is safe. Chloe blames everything on Cat and makes sure to tell everyone who is at fault when things go wrong.
Grayson Alexander, who works for the FBI, is hired to be Chloe's bodyguard. He was just about to leave for vacation when he got the call from his cousin to work the Chloe case. His grandmother, Estelle goes with him to the set where he is working undercover to protect Chloe. His grandmother is quite the character as you will soon find out. Grayson is instantly attracted to Cat, but that can't happen as Cat is Grayson's prime suspect. He thinks she is jealous of Chloe's success but he couldn't be more wrong. That's okay because Cat thinks Grayson is gay, and Grayson lets her believe it at first. Cat and Grayson butt heads quite a bit and it is hysterical.
SNOWBOUND AT CHRISTMAS is filled with mystery, but it is always fun and light hearted. I found myself giggling at many of the situations with Cat and Grayson. I've read Debbie Mason before and have always enjoyed her stories. I truly thought I knew who was behind the murder plot, but I was totally off base. I love reading about Christmas, Colorado, and I'm looking forward to continuing this wonderful series. I finished this one with a huge smile on my face and that is why I always rush to pick up Debbie Mason's books when they come out. They are just that good.
