Since this is a novella in the Play-By-Play series, I do think that Jaci Burton moves at a very fast pace and this is especially true because this story features the first threesome in the series. So as Victoria and Alex get hot and heavy quick, Burton then throws in Ben Reynolds, Alex's manager into the mix. I thought the chemistry between Ben and Victoria seemed a little more organic and authentic since there was some time to build.
