Kerry Sullivan takes a deep breath, strides forward in her sexy outfit, introduces herself as a hostess and proceeds to kidnap the most handsome, hot guy she's seen in a while. Rafael Dawson is gorgeous, but she needs his brains more than his brawn to save her brother's life. And when she tried appealing to the man by telephone, she didn't get anywhere.
So kidnapping came up as a good option. Maybe she should have thought it through a little more. It does go pretty smoothly, overall. She drugs the guy, and a friend helps her get him into a bachelor's playpad where they'll be secluded until Rafael agrees to help. It's kind of hard to ignore all the sex toys in the house, especially when Rafael persists in looking drop-dead gorgeous and pretty tempting all tied up to the bed like that.
What Kerry really can't understand is how he's able to flip the tables so neatly. How does she end up tied up and seduced? And will Rafael save her brother when he's so mad he could spit?
Whew! We're talking firehoses. That's what you'll need when you read this book. Lots of cool water because you're going to be hot. The sex is great and fun, fun, fun. Actually, the plot gets a little lost in the sex, but is that something we should care about? Of course, they focus on Kerry's brother and it gets a little hairy at the end as the real evildoer leaves a dead body around. Oh, and Kerry's life is threatened.
But the sex. Let's not forget the sex. Seriously, this is a fun, erotic book with likable characters. Kerry is naΓ―ve and Rafael well, isn't -- and it's fun to watch him introduce her to lovemaking. The evolution of the characters is good, so don't get the idea that this is just about sex...it's not. A very fun and highly recommended read for those who don't mind a little binding and (fun) torturing in their love scenes.
