ALL WOUND UP is the tenth book in Jaci Burton's Play by Play series about a sexy baseball pitcher and a gorgeous emergency room doctor. This novel can be read as a standalone like all the others in the series. Jaci Burton writes a very sexy story that pulls you in and makes you fall in love with the characters. I really love this series about these really ripped athletes and how they react when they find themselves finally in love. If you're looking for some books with some heat in them, then the Play by Play series will give you the heat you need. Just looking at the cover pictures alone says it all. Jaci Burton does a good job in telling her stories. I truly recommend this series.

ALL WOUND UP is about The Rivers baseball team pitcher Tucker Cassidy and emergency room doctor Aubry Ross. The circumstances of their first meeting is hilarious. Aubry's father is the team owner and frequently reminds her that she should concentrate on her career and not get involved with anyone. She has been around sports all her life. So she's not really interested in getting involved with an athlete -- that is until Tucker. Tucker continually pursues Aubry until she finally relents and agrees to go out with him. When these two finally get together the heat is sizzling. Tucker comes from a family of athletes -- all football players. The Cassidy brothers are quite entertaining. They continually rib each other and it's obvious they love each other and support each other.

This is a story about two career minded individuals with demanding jobs. So when your career is threatened with an ultimatum to choose between your career and your relationship, how would you react? When you have worked so hard to get where you are, are you willing to give it up for love?

I am looking forward to the next Play by Play novel. I know it will be off the charts.
