A New Hope is book eight in the Thunder Point series.

There is nothing as awesome for me as a new Robyn Carr Thunder Point book! I am enjoying this series very much and get so excited when I hear there is a new one coming. A NEW HOPE is a wonderful story of hope, love, forgiveness of ones self, and learning how to let go of the past and taking chances once again. I was hooked from the very first page and before I knew it, I was finished and had a huge smile on my face.

Ginger Dysart has had a rough couple of years. She thought she married her soulmate and was so in love at first. Her husband was a musician and after they married, he told her music would always come first. Well, you can imagine how well Ginger took that little bit of information. Somehow she got pregnant. She moves back home with her parents and When tragedy strikes, she becomes very depressed, never leaving her room. Her parents tell her to go and visit her aunt Ray Anne in Thunder Point. They believe a change would be good for her.

Ginger gets a job at Grace's flower shop. One day while helping Grace get all the arrangements to Peyton's wedding, she meets Matt. Matt is Peyton's brother and he is pretty bitter. He's divorced, and he's not quite over it. (In fact, we meet him at Peyton's wedding when he tries to seduce Ginger in a drunken stupor!) But he is so beautifully flawed, that you can't help cheering him on and going he gets his act together! Matt will steal your heart just as he hopes he can win Ginger's. If anyone deserves to be happy it is Matt and Ginger.

The Thunder Point books are awesome reads and A NEW HOPE is no exception. As usual, Robyn Carr has created 'real' characters with real problems, and more than one moment that will pull at your heart strings. . Ginger and Matt are a great couple and one you will root for as they try and let go of the past and find happiness once again. Robyn Carr is such a gifted story teller. She pulls you in from the very first page and never lets go. I finished Matt and Ginger's story late in the night because I had to know what was going to happen to these two lost souls.

I can not wait to continue this wonderful series. I always feel as if I'm going home and visiting my old friends in Thunder Point and before I know it, I'm finished way too soon and craving the next story. I love when an author can do that to me.

SUMMARY

Starting over is never easy, but in Thunder Point, where newcomers are welcome and friends become family, it's possible to find yourself again. #1 New York Times bestselling author Robyn Carr takes us on a moving and rewarding journey as a young woman finds new hope.

After losing her child, Ginger Dysart was lost in grief. But since moving to Thunder Point, a small town on the Oregon coast, Ginger is finally moving forward. Her job at the flower shop is peaceful and fulfilling, and she's excited to be assisting with the Lacoumette wedding.

In spite of her lasting heartache, Ginger is swept up in the pleasure of the occasion. But the beauty of the Lacoumette farm and the joy of the gregarious family are ruined by an unfortunate encounter with the bride's brother, Matt. Struggling with painful memories of his own, Matt makes a drunken spectacle of himself when he tries to make a pass at Ginger, forcing her to flee the scene in embarrassment.

But when Matt shows up at the flower shop determined to make amends, what started out as a humiliating first meeting blossoms into something much deeper than either of them expected. Everyone around them worries that Ginger will end up with a broken heart yet again. But if Ginger has the courage to embrace the future, and if Matt can finally learn to let go of the past, there may still be hope for a happy ending.
