Beau Devereaux is no stranger to things and people that are different. As the head of Devereaux Security he's more than familiar with physic powers. When Ari comes to them when danger comes her way he is more than willing to jump in and do whatever he can to help her. He just doesn't expect the extent of his feelings for this woman and what he will do to protect her. No matter what it costs him.
IN HIS KEEPING is the intriguing, action packed continuation of author Maya Banks Slow Burn series. Beau and Ari are a perfect match and Ms. Banks writes a steamy love story like few others can. The other family members (including Ramie and Caleb from book one Keep Me Safe) and members of the security company added spice and some very turbulent moments that had the brothers at each others throats at one point. As I read this book, which I did in one sitting because I couldn't put it down, I believed that this is tale of love, sacrifice and acceptance... and family in all kinds of forms. I can't wait to get my hands of book three and see what else Ms. Banks comes up with for these people.
#1 bestselling author Maya Banks continues her suspenseful and steamy Slow Burn series with this second book—a twisting tale featuring a strong yet vulnerable heroine in danger and the sexy alpha hero who must save her.
