Marcus has only recently become the Duke of Rutherford and has yet to do much with his title. When his unknown child shows up at his doorstep Marcus is determined to do everything he can to make her life perfect. This includes hiring Miss Lily Russell as his daughter's governess. Marcus knows he needs to marry a lady of the ton, but he can't stop thinking about Lily. When he asks Lily to teach him society manners he must decide to follow the rules or make his own.
Megan Frampton has written a sensual romance with delightful characters readers will love from page one. Readers won't be able to keep themselves from falling for Marcus. He's charming, alluring, and chooses to do right by his daughter. Lily is feisty, realistic, and her past makes her a unique heroine. Secondary characters in THE DUKE'S GUIDE TO CORRECT BEHAVIOR, such as Rose, Smithfield, and the ditzy Miss Blake bring a humorous touch to the storyline. Though, Lily's past isn't as scandalous as readers may hope the tension between her and Marcus is static and genuine.
The plot is not overly exciting, but will keep readers attention with creative repertoire and witty dialogue. THE DUKE'S GUIDE TO CORRECT BEHAVIOR has the most entertaining characters who are easy to connect with, and every minute spent reading is worth it. Frampton has created such outstanding characters that I felt I had to say goodbye to the best of friends as I finished reading.
