ZONE OF FIRE is a novella by Lindsay McKenna, catching us up on two of her characters from BREAKING POINT and NEVER SURRENDER in the Shadow Warriors series .

Gabe and Bay Griffin are enjoying married life in the "Hill" country with their recently born twins, Michael and Dawn. Life is certainly hectic with newborn twins, but Gabe and Bay are adjusting.

When a phone call comes that Gabe's best friend, Mike Tarik, is missing in action in Afghanistan, Gabe is devastated. Mike is the brother that Gabe never had, and being a SEAL brother makes them even closer. This ordeal brings back memories for both Bay and Gabe of her capture and rape by the Taliban.

Lindsay McKenna's next Shadow Warriors book, TAKING FIRE, follows ZONE OF FIRE with Mike's story. I've read all of Ms. McKenna's Shadow Warriors books, and they really pack a punch. Lindsay McKenna creates great blend of military action and suspense with touching love stories. It's always good to catch up on old characters, and I'm glad Ms. McKenna has added ZONE OF FIRE to her Shadow Warriors series.
