Calvin Jackson spent seven years of fighting wildfires and
five
photographing them, even appearing on National
Geographic and Time. This time he's at the out of
control
Grindstone Canyon Fire in southern California. Hesitating
too long for a shot, he's cut off by the fire believing
this was
his last day on earth when an MHA (Mount Hood Aviation)
pilot rescues him. The hoodie, Jeannie Clark (Helitack),
had just been certified in this type of rescue the
previous
month. Cal is completely stunned by Jeannie Clark and her
firefighter-for-hire's wit, intelligence and talent.
Jeannie has a reputation as a kick ass woman that you
don't want to mess with. The Australian woman is
beautiful, sassy and sexy as hell. Soon coming to an
understanding, Cal is inducted into their group because of
his insight for detail, making this hotshot valuable in
evaluating the wildfires. It isn't long until Helitack's
defenses are down and sex is surprisingly great for both
of
them. Jeannie knows, by the scars on his back, that Cal
is
hiding things from his past, unwilling to reveal to her.
Things really heat up, literally, when the unit is called
to
Australia and beyond to fight several breakouts of fire.
This
could be the time to come clean with this woman and grab
what he can for happiness.
This kick ass woman and her hotshot guy really know how
to bring excitement, laced with lots of mystery, to this
terrific second Firehawks novel. FULL BLAZE has it
all; suspense,
hot-hot romance and as much edge-of-the-seat excitement
you could possible ask for. FULL BLAZE is not the first
novel I have
read by M.L. Buchanan and will definitely NOT be the last.
Once FULL BLAZE is picked up, it's nearly impossible to
put it
down, waiting for the next shoe to drop! M.L. Buchanan is
an amazing
author and really knows how to belt out a story, sure to
entertain the most demanding reader.
These wilderness firefighters battle more than flames The elite fire experts of Mount Hood Aviation fly into places even the CIA can't penetrate. She's just jumped square into the heart of the blaze When Australian helicopter pilot Jeannie Clark rescues wildfire photographer Cal Jackson from a raging burnover, she doesn't know she's bringing aboard a firebrand. Cal is quickly recruited for MHA's covert operations that reach far beyond the flames. Together Jeannie and Cal are assigned to an overseas operation with a lot more at risk than burning trees. And they'll need all the skill, love, and trust they can muster if they're going to survive the heat of this jungle battle.
