Surviving a vicious wolf attack when camping with her sister, Morgan Carter had assumed the mysterious stranger that tried to save them had died. Having no choice she goes on with her life and works hard to raise her deceased sister's daughter. She didn't know that soon she would become part of the SILVER WOLF CLAN.
Greyson Crawford's life turned upside down when he risks his life to try and rescue a couple of women from a vicious wolf attacking their camp. He is bitten, stumbles away and disappears. The first few months are hell until he finds a pack to help him learn to live with the animal that was now a part of him.
Something very strong sends him back to Morgan. He tells himself he only wants to check to make sure she is doing all right. He is determined to not let the darkness affect her but that's easier said than done, when he can't seem to stay away from her. It seems the wolf that is now a part of him, likes Morgan and wants her for his mate ...
SILVER WOLF CLAN is a book I kept putting off reading and now I can't understand why I did it. It is an amazingly different paranormal with a number of sneaky little twists and turns that keep you guessing and reading. I liked all the characters; they all blended well and added to the building of this storyline. It is listed as the beginning of a series and I think it will be a very good one. It was mostly from Grey's viewpoint but since the major change came over him first it seemed only fair, there is plenty of dialogue that will give you some of Morgan's story as well as the pack members they meet up with, and they give a better look at the "rules" of this wolf world. Author Tera Shanley has a very good start for a long series and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
Loving him will be legendary...if she can survive it.
What happens when monsters turn out to be real? One summer
night while camping in the woods, Morgan Carter finds out
in
a big way. A tall mysterious stranger, Greyson Crawford,
risks his life to try and save her sister from the vicious
wolf attacking their camp. When heβs bitten and disappears
into the night, Morgan can only assume the worst.
Greyson shows up a year later, and heβs a different animal
altogether. His eye color shifts constantly and the rumble
in his throat sounds more animal than human. She hasnβt
any
idea where heβs been all this time, but a good guess as to
what heβs become.
Grey is determined not to let the darkness of his new
existence affect Morgan and the little girl in her care.
He
hasnβt been able to stop thinking about Morgan but knows
he
should stay away and let her live a normal life. Thatβs
easier said than done, though. A new danger pulls him from
the shadows to keep her safe, and heβs no wolf in sheepβs
clothing.
Can she accept what lurks just below his surface? More
importantly, can she survive him?
