Maddie has decided that she doesn't need a man in her life. Maddie is in line to oversee a project. All she has to do is sleep with Fred, her boss. Since Maddie doesn't want to sleep with the boss for a project she quits her job and is thinking of starting her own company. Flynn is a Plummer and works with his brothers, Mike and Brody. When his brother Mike's renter, Maddie calls to say they have a leak under the sink, Flynn heads over to try and fix the leak. Little did he know that he would meet Maddie. Flynn has beautiful green eyes that can turn any women's head, but the last thing Maddie needs in her a life is a new man. Flynn takes one look at her and he knows that he has to have her. He is bound and determined to do what he has to do to get her. He tries brining her flowers and invites her to the family picnic, but Maddie is not about to give in to THE TROUBLEMAKER NEXT DOOR. THE TROUBLEMAKER NEXT DOOR is the second book that I have read by Marie Harte. However, this is the first one in the series and I read the second one first. That being said, it was still a delight. Reading out of order for this series is okay, but now I understand the second book, and the characters in it better. THE TROUBLEMAKER NEXT DOOR is the kind of book that you can just cuddle up on the couch with a good glass of wine or a cup of coffee. I really like how Marie Harte gives both side of a relationship. Flynn tries everything to get this relationship started. Maddie does everything to avoid a relationship. Anyone who has been in a relationship, knows that it takes two to make one work Marie Harte does show the pros and cons to any relationship.
