A HUSBAND FOR CHRISTMAS is a duet of Christmas offerings
by
top romance writer Diana Palmer. Snow Kisses is new but
Lionhearted is a reprint from an earlier release.
SNOW KISSES finds Abby Shane returning to the ranch she
grew up in in Big Sky Country. She's there for her
sister's
wedding but she is also there to regroup and recoup from
an
attack that happened in New York. She is also returning to
the man who has always held her heart since she was 18.
She
begins to forget the terror of the attack but she also
wants more than what Cade McLaren is willing to offer.
Despite his obvious desire he chases her away from the
ranch and back to the big city and her work as a model.
Can
she ever get close to him and explain that she left those
years ago because she was hopelessly in love and that had
not changed? Or will he always feel that marriage and love
are traps that he's not going to fall into.
Snow Kisses is a sweet love story that is typical Diana
Palmer and one you will not want to put down. No one does
happily ever after better than Ms. Palmer. She puts a lot
of misunderstanding into play in a way that the reader can
understand why the couple thinks what they do but we just
might want to shake a little sense into them. Abby and
Cade
are strong characters, but both with a vulnerable side
that
they are both afraid to show to each other. This is
another
great, touching story by a fantastic author.
LIONHEARTED is the story of Janie Brewster who has a
hopeless crush on Leo Hart and can't figure out how to get
his attention. She has tried the cowgirl route with only
getting his nasty temper as a reward. Finally, and it's
harder than anything she has ever tried, she finds the
Hart
brother weakness and has to act on it. She will simply
have
to learn to bake mouthwatering biscuits.
Having read this before it was a nice re-read. I love the
Hart brothers and Janie was much more independent than the
usual Palmer heroine. I liked Janie because when Leo was
a jerk to her she didn't immediately forgive and forget,
he
had to work for it. After reading this book I am ready to
pick up some of my older Diana Palmer's and re-read those
too.
A HUSBAND FOR CHRISTMAS will go on my TRA shelf with all
the others by Ms. Palmer. If you are looking for a sweet,
Christmas story this is one you will want to pick up.
Love is right around the snowy bend in two classic
Diana
Palmer Christmas stories. Two unforgettable heroines might
just find passion, redemption and happily-ever-after in
their stockings this year….
