ROCKY MOUNTAIN MIRACLE is one fast paced, deeply intense, heart pounding Christmas story. I must admit that I am not a big fan of Christmas themed books, they all seem the same to me, but I enjoy author Christine Feehan's books so I thought I would try this one. I am so glad I did. It's different ... with vivid characters that come to life in a winter setting, with a touch of Christmas magic thrown in. Ms. Feehan has a way of writing where she can take an expected storyline and turn it into something totally stunning. I loved it.

Cole and Jase are two brothers who are struggling to get to know each other in the home where they had both been horribly abused. On top of this there is the Christmas issue, they both hate the thought of it, the reason will be clear very quickly as you read this story. Maia is also running because of an ability she has with animals. She's afraid to get involved with these guys but is drawn into their troubles and as they work things out between them she is caught up in their joys. Watching these three become a family in spite of themselves is heartwarming but then add in the mysteries that need to be solved: their father's murder, some missing items, accidents that are happening and Coles' and Maia's pasts all blend into a fascinating book that I will put on my TRA (to read again) shelf.
