Tyler O'Neil is still adjusting to being a single father
to
a teenage daughter. A skiing accident turned his whole
world
upside down and now he's assisting with the family
business.
Tyler is reluctantly learning how to deal with people who
view him more for his alleged celebrity exploits of the
past. Meanwhile, his childhood best friend, Brenna Daniels
has been in love with Tyler his whole life, but can their
friendship ever turn to love? Will Brenna learn how to get
past her own insecurities?
MAYBE THIS CHRISTMAS is the third book in Sarah Morgan's
O'Neil Brothers series but can easily be read as a
standalone. However, part of the joy of the O'Neil
Brothers series is the love and camaraderie of the
O'Neil family that permeates each and every book.
Revisiting
with old favorite characters and seeing how their love
continues to grow only adds to the beauty of the series.
Tyler is a reluctant hero, a man who loves skiing and
misses
the fast pace of his former celebrity lifestyle. I love
his
snarky sense of humor and his interactions with his
daughter, Jess. Their discussions over their dogs still
make
me laugh just thinking about them. However, it is Brenna
and
her own emotional growth that makes MAYBE THIS CHRISTMAS
so
uplifting. Sarah Morgan does a marvelous job at addressing
the sensitive issue of bullying and its lasting effects on
an individual.
MAYBE THIS CHRISTMAS is another stunning installment in
the
O'Neil Brothers series. Sarah Morgan does a
fabulous
job at describing the beauty of the family owned resort,
Snow Crystal! Snow Crystal is a magical place and I love
each and every visit with the O'Neil family. Sarah Morgan
excels at writing emotionally charged romances as MAYBE
THIS
CHRISTMAS is highly recommended!
This winter, ex-skiing champion, reformed heartbreaker and
single dad Tyler O'Neil has only one mission—making sure
his
daughter, Jess, has the best Christmas ever. The fact that
his best friend, Brenna, is also temporarily moving into
his
chalet at the overbooked Snow Crystal resort is a
delicious
distraction he's simply going to have to ignore. Theirs is
the one relationship he's never ruined, and he's not about
to start now.
Ski pro Brenna Daniels knows all about the perils of
unrequited love—she's been in love with Tyler for years.
But
living with him is absolute torture… How can she
concentrate
on being his friend when he's sleeping in the room next
door? Then when Tyler kisses Brenna, suddenly the
relationship she's always dreamed of feels so close she
could almost touch it. Could this be the Christmas her
dreams of a happy-ever-after finally come true?
