TAMING THE LION is book two and can be read alone, but go back read Jaguar's Kiss, Lila's story which parallels book two, you will enjoy them both. The potential to take this series far has been established even more in TAMING THE LION, I see many more great stories as the Pride fights off the people threatening them and the other shifters wanting to come out to humans.
