Cannon Colter is back from a triumphant win in Japan for the Supreme Battle Championship (MMA) but isn't feeling all that great. He barely got the win and he returns to find himself in a lawyer's office learning Tipton Sweeney died and left everything to be split between himself and his granddaughter Yvette. Three years ago Yvette Sweeney walked out of Cannon's life. He could understand it after the trauma she had undergone at the hands of some perverts, but he had not forgotten her and after seeing her again doesn't plan on letting her get away again. He was ready to let her know that this time there would be NO LIMITS on what he would do to keep her.

Yvette is no longer the helpless girl who flirted with the big, strong man and no longer needed him as her protector. Unfortunately her grandfather had placed the burden of helping her on those fantastic shoulders but she was going to stand on her own and let him know she could handle things. She would sell the pawnshop and house and give him his half. She didn't count the fact that even after all this time just the sound of his voice has her weak in the knees.

NO LIMITS is a steamy storyline loaded with romance and danger. This is the first (full length) of author Lori Foster's Ultimate series and I already want the next one in my hands. Cannon and Yvette is a couple we have seen before in other books but this one is their story. Cannon is exactly as we expect strong, tough, gorgeous and when it comes to Yvette determined. Yvette gave me a few moments where I wasn't sure where her brain was, but it did click in that she isn't helpless and no one was stopping her from getting what she wants. The danger comes in part from an ex who can't take no for an answer but more danger comes out of nowhere.

Ms. Foster writes in a way that keeps you reading for the excitement, the pleasure and because the characters are so great you just have to know what happens next. The secondary characters can seem outrageous but once you get to the heart of them they are guys you know you can depend on. Anyone ... whether a fan of the MMA or not ... who enjoys camaraderie of like and unlike people, intrigue, steamy sex and danger will love this book. I have a spot on my shelf reserved this one and for the next one.
