Romance Contemporary

Abby Foster has been left a mansion by a family relative she never knew. Everything is so new to her in the small town called Jewell Cove on the coast of Maine. Everyone knows all the old stories that Abby needs to hear about her secretive part of the family that she never knew. When she comes upon the mansion, it's very run down and needs quite a bit of work, but when she sleeps over night in the mansion, she gets the feeling that something or someone is watching her. It scares her a bit so she takes a room at an inn located in the small town. The longer Abby stays the more information she wants to learn about her family heritage. There are days she wants to run back to Nova Scotia and there are times she wants to start a new life, maybe even here at Jewell Cove.

Tom Arseneault who is a most successful building contractor in Jewell Cove desperately wants the job fixing up the old run down mansion, but he gets off to a bad start with Abby. As time goes by Abby realizes that Tom is the man for the job and hires him. And the more time they spend together at the mansion the sparks fly between them, romance blooms! Will Abby stay in Jewel Cove or run back to Nova Scotia? Must read to find out!

SUMMARY

When a young woman inherits a rundown mansion, the last thing she expects to find is the key to her heart… Abby Foster is a fish out of water in the Maine coastal town of Jewell Cove. The crumbling Foster estate, left to her by a relative she never even knew, has everyone’s eyes on herβ€”an eerie reminder of the long-buried family secrets that have haunted her…forever. Single, stunning, and sometimes too strong-willed for her own good, Abby’s plan is to sell the house and hightail it back to Nova Scotia. But another part of her is intrigued by the idea of starting over somewhere newβ€”and finally learning the truth about her heritage. THE HOUSE ON BLACKBERRY HILL Enter Tom Arseneault. The best contractor in Jewell Cove, Tom is determined to restore the beauty and prestige of the Foster mansionβ€”and maybe even work his charms on its beautiful new heir. The attraction between him and Abby is undeniable, and the more time Tom spends on the house the more he wants to be in it with her. But Abby’s not sure she can trust himβ€”or anyone in Jewell Cove who seems to know more about her family history than she does. Home: Is it really where the heart is after all?
