Storyton Hall needs to increase its bookings in order for the book-based resort to maintain the magnificent grounds and building. Jane Steward's family has overseen Storyton Hall since it was first built and Jane is determined to do whatever she can to preserve the beautiful resort and the quaint Storyton Village nearby. Hosting a Murder and Mayhem Week for mystery readers seems just the thing... until a real dead body is found. Will Jane unravel the mystery and save Storyton Hall at the same time?
Ellery Adams does a marvelous job at world building in MURDER IN THE MYSTERY SUITE! Storyton Hall sounds like a truly magical place, where books and reading are treasured. I love the idea of the librarian and the way he rewards his readers for returning books they've read. Ellery Adams makes Storyton Hall come to life as I could easily envision the resort with the hidden nooks and crannies, the ballroom, the fantastic feasts, and the gazebo outside. It's a place readers will wish they could truly visit and enjoy a relaxing vacation.
MURDER IN THE MYSTERY SUITE is the first book in the Book Resort Mysteries series and Ellery Adams provides readers with a charming setting and characters. I couldn't get enough of the moments with Jane's two sons, Hem and Fitz as their imaginative antics are absolutely delightful!
MURDER IN THE MYSTERY SUITE is a bit unique for a cozy mystery as Ellery Adams has some surprises ahead for both the reader and Jane. To say more would spoil the revelations that await the reader as unraveling the mysteries within MURDER IN THE MYSTERY SUITE are part of the fun! Readers will relish the way Ellery Adams weaves together books, mystery, and fantasy.
