Adelia Hernandez is rebuilding her life after a disastrous marriage to her ex, Ernesto. With her four children, Tomas, Selena, Natalia and Juanita, moving to a different home isn't easy. Overcoming her husband's infidelity is even harder for Adelia. Even her siblings and mother have a hard time abiding by her divorce as the Hernandez family just doesn't give up. Serenity, South Carolina provides her support by those she has grown up around. Gabe Franklin was the bad little boy who stood up for his mother as a child when the whole town was against her. Protecting his mother, even though she was not a good one, caused him to be thrown out of school. Now, as an adult, he arrives in Serenity, sexy as all get out, to work construction for his cousin, Mitch. With a history of taking off when ties get close, he is captivated by the lovely Adelia and falls in love with her children when assigned to remodel her home. Both being leery of putting trust in someone else, banding together to secure her guardianship of the children is more than either expected at fighting a lying and vengeful ex. Nothing escapes the community concerning their liaison when the Sweet Magnolias of Serenity are around. What can I say except that I ALWAYS cherish the stories I read by this brilliant author. SWAN POINT is a masterpiece of family, love and acceptance. Sherryl Woods certainly knows how to weave a tale of conquering the challenges of true love.
