Jaimela is a strong, smart and somewhat snarky woman who is slowly regaining her memories and knows her mission, while Dimitri is a strong, smart and somewhat snarky man who knows his mission. When they meet ...let the explosions begin. There isn't quite as much romance as the other Soul Girls books, but there is more of the mysterious Heidi and overseer Connor...giving us more of this couple's past and some very strong hints of a future. We also got to see more of the design and running of the casino, and it's one you don't want to even think about cheating or stealing ... unless you know how to dance and want to do that for decades. I am looking forward to Ms. Long's next book ... I cannot wait to see what Heidi is really up to.
