David Patterson is a jaguar shifter and a Special Forces
Golden Claw JAG agent whose latest job is tracking down a
set of shifter twins, Alex and Nate Taylor. His boss Martin
Sullivan wants them as JAG members. After tailing them to a
place they shouldn't have been and about to get beat up by
another shifter, David learns that these boys know
something about a real jaguar missing from a local zoo. The
twins escape to Belize and David is about to go on a JAGUAR
HUNT ... with a partner.
Tammy Anderson is a shifter and an Enforcer for JAG and she
hates partners, especially the Golden Claw guys, so she
ditches them and closes the cases on her own. Except this
guy won't be ditched and she finds herself in Belize with
him, searching for a set of mischievous twins and the truth
about the stolen jaguar that she had been originally
searching for.
Is it possible that someone inside JAG is a traitor and
thief? If what the boys say is the truth it is very
possible and the only people they can trust is each other
and their bosses. Tammy has a few trust issues but with
David treating her as an equal and he being sexy as all get
out ... this mission with its twists and funny turns,
especially by the boys, just might become something very,
very special for them both.
JAGUAR HUNT drops you in the middle of the action and all
you can do is hold on tight. Author Terry Spear brings to
life her Jaguar world with a lot of humor, plenty of
sizzling sex and of course the spectacular touches of good
guy versus bad guy action. I really loved David and Tammy
as agents and as a couple, they fit perfectly and once she
stopped trying to dump him, they worked well together. He
accepts that she is an agent and knows how to handle
herself, even if his instinct tells him to protect the
little woman, he is smart enough not to. Tammy finds
herself opening up to him about a worry she has concerning
her family and knows it will go no farther. The twins added
a lot of humor to this book and I found myself laughing out
loud a couple of times, but when it is necessary those boys
and another set of twins that come into play dive into the
action without fear. Great book, fun read and I cannot wait
to see what Ms. Spear comes up with for the next one.
Two deadly predators...
As a feline Enforcer, Tammy Anderson has one objective:
locate the missing jaguar and return it to the States. She
doesn't have time for distractions, and she definitely
doesn't have time for sexy shifters with more muscles than
sense.
One hot mission...
Everyone and their brother has warned JAG agent David
Patterson that Tammy is Ms. Hands-Off...which only makes him
more determined to get very hands-on. But things heat up in
the steamy jungles of Belize and their simple mission gets a
whole lot more complicated. Now it's going to take
everything David's got to protect the gorgeous she-cat who
somehow managed to claw her way past his defenses...and into
his heart.
I loved the Review. I love all her books and shifters. But David has that Something Something extra. And I agree, If you Tammy can't ditch him. Join with him. That's much more fun. And David doesn't just go away. And her claws didn't scare him. *laughing* (Donna Fournier 11:25am June 2, 2014)
