Erin Flynn, is an Enforcer dedicated to protecting her kind, even from themselves if necessary. She is tough and strong but her heart keeps getting tripped up by the lupine who had rescued her from death, Noah Campbell. She is on her first official investigation and Noah is sent with her, because it is his father's territory. They have no way of knowing they are about to get caught up in AVENGER'S HEAT.

Noah didn't want to go back to New Orleans's but there was no way he was letting Erin out of his sight. It doesn't take long for them to be caught up in finding missing pregnant shifters, dealing with rogue vampires, and even the horror from Erin's own past. All the while Noah is there not quite pushing the mating bond he wants so desperately, but to the point where he lets her know nothing less will do him.

AVENGER'S HEAT will hold you spell bound from the first word to the last. Erin and Noah were introduced in an earlier book and theirs is a story I wanted to see expanded upon and author Katie Reus did a fantastic job. I found Noah, noble as well as sexy as only a shifter can be and Erin who is resilient enough to be a good match for the macho bull that he couldn't always hold in. Besides their story were the additional chapters that captured Brianna, a member of the fae warriors and Angelo, a pack mate (who are also in New Orleans working on the case) with their story which I found in turns amusing and touching. This is one of Ms. Reus' A Moon Shifter novels, and I certainly hope she plans to write more of them, because I so enjoy getting lost in her world.
