Rachael loves living in Sugar Creek, VT. It has all of the things that she loves. It's a small town, everyone knows everyone. Rachael is involved in the Cupcake lovers club, she helps out at the school and she is working for hunky Luke Monroe. The only problem is that Rachael has a big secret.
Luke owns the town's pub. Luke is attracted to Rachael, but his cousin Sam is also very attracted to Rachael. Because both cousins like Rachael, this is causing a big problem in the family. One day Rachael up and disappears, not telling anyone where she is going. Luke asked his future brother in law Jayce, to try and track her down.
Little did Luke know what Jayce would come up with. Rachael is not her name; her real name is Raegan, daughter of a famous movie star. That's not all she is also a millionaire. Luke heads to Bel Air, CA. to find out why she would lied to everyone who cared about her. Once there of course the sparks fly, and one thing leads to another.
Beth Ciotta is a very entertaining writer. Some of the story line is predictable, but after reading so many romance novels, I can guess what is going to happen. This did not however, keep me from enjoying ANYTHING BUT LOVE.
Once again, at the back of the book are some of the recipes that the Cupcake Lovers Club makes in the book. This is another item that I enjoy when I read books that have to do with cooking or baking. I do love to try and make some of the recipes that they describe.
